My kennel name originates from my two first shelties, Torkku and Daisy. I got Torkku 1994 and couple of years later came Daisy. I wanted to breed Daisy, who had excellent temperament and was very succesfull in dog shows but unfortunately was unable to breed.
So I was looking for a bitch to start breeding. After several years of searching Mrs Carol Watson / Tiakina kennel asked if I would like to have Talia (Au Ch Tiakina to Die for) and so Talia flew to Finland. And I was so happy and lucky to get her.
Unfortunately she was able to have only one litter but sometimes that is already enough. I got from that litter Sissi who has had one litter until now.
My goal is to breed dogs with which is easy to live with. This means good health and temperament. I also want to respect Shetland Sheepdog standard.
For me the best reward is that I have found loving families who enjoy their dogs as much as I enjoy mine.
